Satellite Navigation

Truckcom allows you to provide your drivers with Satnav all on the same device that’s used for tracking, job instructions, and vehicle checks. This can be a very economical way to ensure that all drivers have the benefit of satellite navigation for smooth and reliable execution of jobs in locations they’re not familiar with.

There are two key benefits of Satnav provided in this way:

• It is far more economical to provide Satnav on a device already required in the vehicle for daily checks, vehicle tracking, electronic POD etc. than to provide a separate standalone Satnav.
• By using the same device, we can offer our helpful One Touch Navigation feature which links the job management system to the Satnav to make everyone’s lives easier

Within the next few years, we expect phone based Satnav to become a dominant form of satellite navigation.
